The Platform

Issues & Platform

Three pillars. One mission: Hartland Families First.

Pillar 1

Transparency

Hartland families deserve to know exactly what is happening in their schools, every vote, every budget, every policy decision.

  • Open and accessible board meetings with clear agendas published in advance
  • Full financial transparency — where every dollar goes, explained in plain language
  • No hidden curriculum changes, parents notified before new programs are introduced
  • Responsive to parent questions and concerns, no stonewalling
Pillar 2

Safety

Safe schools are the foundation of learning. Every student and staff member deserves to feel secure every single day.

  • Strong school safety protocols reviewed and updated regularly
  • Mental health resources that actually reach students who need them
  • Clear discipline policies applied consistently and fairly
  • Partnering with law enforcement and community to keep campuses secure
Pillar 3

Academic Success

Rigorous academics, high standards, and a focus on outcomes, not ideology. Every Hartland student can achieve excellence.

  • Focus on core academics: reading, writing, math, science, and critical thinking
  • High expectations for every student, regardless of background
  • Curriculum that prepares students for college, trades, career, and life
  • Teacher support and resources so educators can do their best work

Accomplishments in Office

Removed the US Department of Justice

Jeff played a key role in helping Hartland Consolidated Schools end its involvement with the US Department of Justice — keeping federal overreach out of our classrooms and restoring local control of education to Hartland families where it belongs.

Eliminated Unfair DEI Programs

Jeff fought to end DEI initiatives that created unequal treatment among students. Every child in Hartland deserves the same opportunities and the same high expectations — no favoritism, no double standards.
